PICTURESQUE PALCES
   The National Park “Central Balkan” is among the world temples of the wild nature. With its beautiful nature, magnificent landscapes, swift – flowing rivers, huge precipices, numerous waterfalls and hundred – years forests, this part of the mountain is attractive place for every one who just a little know this magic.

Tasovete is a site, located within the Steneto Reserve, at some 20 – 30 min hike North of Dermenkaya hut.

This site is a spacious pasture located in a side chain west of the valley of Starna River.

The place is a real heaven for the ornithologists.

This is one of the most popular and visited sites in the National Park. On the green meadows by the Byala Reka River tourist infrastructure is build.

This interpretative trail is a part of the interpretative tourist infrastructure of the National Park.

The rocks rise above the very Rai hut. Thy are a section of Dzhendema reserve and at the same time are one of the most popular sites for rock climbing in the Central Balkan.

Bash Mandra is a place, named after a dairy, which has existed in the area some 30 – 35 years ago.

This beautiful site is located on the northern slopes of the peak of Zhalni, at some 60 m below the peak.

It is located close to the Praznoto Myasto saddle – on the eastern slope of the water divide between the rivers of Sokolna and Kyui Dere.

The site is located along the trail from Tazha village via Rusalka hut to Tazha hut, which follows the Rusaliiski Pass, used to cross Stara Planina since the times of the Celts and the Ancient Romans.
