Central Balkan National Park Directorate, Gabrovo, ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POST OF: Chief Expert in the Directorate "Biodiversity, Control and Protection", Department "Biodiversity, Plans, Programs and Projects" in the Directorate "Central Balkan National Park"

On December 15, 10 children from the Climate and Me club at the St. St. Cyril and Methodius High School of the city of Gabrovo, visited the educational and information center of The Central Balkan National Park Directorate.

Experts from the Directorate gave the children a lecture related to the types of protected areas, the reason for their creation, the specifics of each one of them and their importance for the protection of biodiversity in Bulgaria and globally.

On December 14, experts from the Central Balkan National Park Directorate gave a lesson - a talk at Hristo G. Danov Primary School, in the town of Klisura.

The children were extremely active, they actively participated in the activities and showed good basic knowledge about the forest inhabitants of the Balkan Mountains.

International Mountain Day 2023

Restoring mountain ecosystems is the theme of this year's International Mountain Day on 11 December.

Order to terminate a competition

Employees of the Central Balkan National Park presented a lesson on the topic About the Bear.

On the occasion of The Saint Andrew's Day (The Bear Day) on November 30, employees of the Parks Directorate visited Vasil Levskihigh school in the town of Apriltsi and delivered a lesson in the form of a talk about the brown bear. The school's 3rd grade children took part in the activity.

The completely renovated Byala Reka eco-trail is open for visitors.

After a complete repair in September and October this year of the Byala Reka eco-trail its official opening became a fact. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Water Nikolay Sidzhimov, the Mayor of Kalofer Dragomir Boev, the Deputy Mayor of Karlovo Municipality Anton Minev, experts from the Ministry of Environment and Water and the Central Balkan National Park Directorate and partners.
