The Boatin Reserve was declared on June 12, 1948 and is the oldest of the nine reserves in the Central Balkan National Park.

On June 5, the Central Balkan National Park Directorate and the Science -1870 community center of the town of Troyan, celebrated the World Environment Day

The event was held in the form of an informational meeting for citizens from the local community, under the title "Together for a green future", in the community center building, with increased interest.
