A meeting with pasture users regarding the cases of poisoned vultures in Central Balkan National Park was held today in Kalofer. The meeting was organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Environment and Water (MOEW) and the Directorate of Central Balkan National Park (DCBNP).

The investigation into the case of dead birds found in Central Balkan National Park continues

Following the initial discovery of five vultures, three more dead birds were found during the survey of the area, which continued until late in the evening of 18 August – a cinereous vulture, the bearded vulture Boev, and a raven. The griffon vulture that had previously been found in critical condition also died despite receiving emergency veterinary care.
