Central Balkan National Park Directorate and the community center in the village of Anton celebrated the Week of the Forest

Within the framework of the Week of the Forest in the period April 1-5, the Central Balkan National Park Directorate presented an exhibition in the building of the community center in the village of Anton of the winning works from the children's "Four Seasons in the Central Balkan" 2023 drawing competition.
Along with the exhibited works, the park directorate provided the local community with information materials adapted for all age groups, with information about the park and its greatest asset – the forests. Visitors also viewed photographic material from the centuries-old beech forests on the territory of the park. Local residents were interested in the characteristics of the park, its purpose, its biodiversity and the work of the park directorate. The opening was attended by representatives of the cultural and educational sphere in the local community, as well as residents of other settlements.
The park directorate thanks the team of the community center with the hope of fruitful cooperation in the future.
