DNPCB Team Locates Missing Tourist Alive in the Area of Golyam Kademliya
The teams of the Central Balkan National Park Directorate and the Mountain Rescue Service successfully located the missing Nikola Vladov from the village of Dzhulyunitsa. The man was found in the area above Babsko Praskalo after being missing for four days.
According to information from our rescue teams, Vladov was severely exhausted due to the prolonged period without food, but he is nevertheless in stable overall condition. The rescue group, personally led by the Director of the Park Directorate, Georgi Krastev, transported him to the “Triglav” mountain hut, where he received first aid.
The man managed to take shelter in the “Golyam Kademliya” emergency hut, which proved crucial for his survival in the harsh mountain conditions.
Director Georgi Krastev expresses his gratitude to all Directorate staff and the rescuers from the Mountain Rescue Service who took part in the operation, emphasizing the importance of good coordination between institutions for the successful outcome of the mission.
