For another year, "Central Balkan" participates in "Uzana Polyana Fest"

Employees of the Park Directorate took part in two of the initiatives of the Gabrovo Municipality, held during the days of the environmental festival "Uzana Polyana Fest", which this year took place from 18 to 20 July.
On the 18th, Friday, the experts took an active part in the discussion of the new Green Strategy of the Gabrovo Municipality for the sustainable management of green infrastructure and addressing the challenges posed by climate change. They joined the discussions of the round table with the department "Forests and Protected Areas", which considered proposals related to water management, forests, forest fire problems, attracting tourists, etc.
On Saturday, July 19, the Central Balkan National Park Directorate participated with its tent in the active zone of the ecological fest, in which experts provided visitors with interesting information about the Central Balkan National Park, the Central Balkan Biosphere Park, the representative beech forests of the Park, part of the UNESCO World Heritage List, as well as some of the more interesting and interpreted eco-trails and routes in the Central Balkan National Park. The participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge of sites, plants and animals found in the Park, and others were challenged to visit them in order to get to know them.
