Renovation of the Byala Reka Visitor Complex has started

The implementation of the contract for the complete renovation of the Byala Reka Visitor Complex, which includes the Byala Reka Bivouac and the Djendema Ecocenter, has begun. In the process of work in the coming months, the old benches, tables and facilities from the tourist infrastructure will be completely removed in the area of the Complex, the building and the adjacent service facilities, as well as the playground, will be dismantled.
New, modern modular buildings will be placed in the Visitor Complex, which will provide quality service and information to visitors and will improve the overall appearance of the place. The sanitary facilities will be completely renovated and modernized. The new park furniture will be equipped with solar photocells that will provide lighting for the gazebos, which will be placed in various places in the area of the bivouac. It is also planned to build paths and railings that will facilitate access for people with limited abilities and will also improve the comfort and safety of visitors. Two playgrounds will be provided for the youngest children, where they can have fun and play. The building of the Djendema Ecocenter will be renovated, and the sanitary facilities will be completely renovated.
For the next tourist season, the Byala Reka Visitor Complex will open its doors to all nature lovers with a completely new look, which will completely improve the experience of visitors.
In order to ensure the safety of citizens during the construction, installation and repair works that will be carried out on the territory of the BCNR, by Order No. RD-263/29.09.2025 of the Director of the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Service, a ban on bivouacs and stays of outsiders in the area of the Visitor Complex, as well as access by vehicles, has been introduced until November 30.
