Temporary restrictions on vehicle traffic are being introduced on the road from Troyanski Prohod to Dermenka hut

By Order No. RD 130 of 14.05.2025 of the Director of the Directorate "Central Balkan National Park", temporary restrictions are introduced for the movement, stay and parking of motor vehicles (MPV) (including ATVs and UTVs of all classes) for road No. 12 Troyanski Prohod - Dermenka hut from Appendix No. 3.2.3. "Roads with free access and parking lots to them in the Central Balkan National Park", NPCB Management Plan, 2016 - 2025, as follows:
- Limited access is introduced on road No. 12 Troyanski Prohod - Dermenka hut for visitors to NPCB by vehicle (including ATVs and UTVs of all classes) for tourism purposes, with the movement of up to 10 vehicles per day allowed, only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The movement of vehicles on the specified road is carried out after prior coordination with the National Directorate for Protected Areas (NDPA) in accordance with §7 of the Transitional and Final Provisions (TPR) of the Protected Areas Act (PAA).
- A coordinated regime for the use of road No. 12 Troyanski prohod - Dermenka hut is introduced for all owners of sites and users of natural resources in the area.
The introduced restrictions do not apply to vehicles of the Ministry of Environment and Water, National Directorate for Protected Areas (NDPA), the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Defense and the Bulgarian National Police, as well as to other vehicles with a special traffic regime when performing official duties.
