The 16th edition of the Ambassadors of Health National Student Competition begins.

The Ministry of Environment and Water is a partner for the competition together with the Ministry of Health , the Ministry of Education and Science , the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MMS), the Ministry of Culture , the National Center for Public Health and Analyzes , the State Agency for Child Protection , the Regional Office of the World Health Organization in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross.
This year's edition of the competition starts in April and will continue until December 2024, taking place in three age categories: 1st - 4th grade, 5th - 7th grade and 8th - 12th grade. Classes or graduations of students from 1st to 12th grade from all over the country have the right to participate. Teachers of one or more classes can participate in the projects, regardless of whether they are from the same graduating class.
The competition will take place in two phases:
First phase: from April 5 to May 15, 2024, participants send projects in the field of prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases to the Ministry of Health.
Second phase: from May 20 to October 30, 2024, participants implement and report activities scheduled in the projects.
