The Central Balkan National Park Directorate celebrated the European Day of the NATURA 2000 ecological network

Out of regard the European Day of the NATURA 2000 ecological network, The Central Balkan National Park Directorate, in partnership with The Vasil Levski 1861 Community Center of The town of Karlovo, conducted an information campaign under the title "Think eco, be eco". The event took place over two days - May 22 and 25, in front of the community center building with the aim of providing information to the local community about the nature and purpose of NATURA 2000, as well as the Central Balkan National Park. The visitors were given informational materials, as well as the opportunity to receive additional information, in case of questions addressed to the Park Directorate. For the children, the Park Directorate provided adapted materials and themed games.
The event was held with increased interest, as the visitors and experts of the Park Directorate discussed the issues related to the topic.
