The "Ranger Day" - 6 years of new knowledge and fun

On July 26, 2025 (Saturday) from 10:00 to 14:00, the sixth edition of the "Ranger Day" initiative will be held. It will take place in the courtyard of the Natural History Museum in the village of Cherni Osam and is a joint event of the Directorate of the Central Balkan National Park, the National School for Mountain Guides - Cherni Osam and the Museum.
The program includes educational and adventure activities for children dedicated to nature conservation and the work of park rangers. Participants will receive a map with which they will navigate the area around the museum and discover various stations, knowledge and entertainment.
Among the planned activities are a climbing wall, a rope trolley, balancing and walking on a tape, map orientation, exploring the world of animals and plants.
For those who successfully pass all the stations and collect the stamps, there will be a certificate and awarding the title "Junior Ranger".
The initiative aims to encourage children's interest in conservation, the mountains and the activities of park rangers through games, education and adventures in nature. It is traditionally held around July 31 - International Ranger Day.
