The Kucheto peak
ABOUT THE PEAK
This rocky peak of is located directly to the West of the remarkable Kozya Stena. It is a part of the main crest, but its is not particularly high. It is crossed by the southern boundary of the smallest reserve in the Central Balkan – Kozya Stena. Kucheto makes a section of a region, describe as a site of especially valuable plant communities. Here is one of the locations in Stara Planina, where you could observe edelweiss – of course it is recommendable that you only look at the flowers. The trail from Eho hut to Beklemeto, of which this peak of is section is not recommended for hiking in the winter period. It could be hiked only after special training, with a special equipment and a competent guide. The avalanches danger is high. Address: Troyan Balkan
