The Yurushka Gramada peak
ABOUT THE PEAK
The peak is 2136.2 m high. It is a section of the trail Botev Peak – Tazha hut, following the open, high parts of the mountain, where the weather changes very quickly, strong winds fall very often and in summer the hailstorms are common. It is also a section of the Kom-Emine trail. The peak marks the eastern boundary of the Dzhendema and Severen Dzhendem reserves, to the West of its is located the saddle Pileshki Polog, which divides it from the peak of Paradjika. North of this saddle, over the vertical rocks of the Northern Djhendem fall the waters of the Vidimskoto Praskalo (waterfall), while to the South a broad grass valley opens, from the shallow folds from which begin the three springs of the Selskata river – the main tributary of Tundzha. At the Pileshki Polog, the marked crest trail joins the dust road from the town of Kalofer to Botev Peak. The crest trail does not climb Yurushka Gramada – it shortcuts it from the South. Address: Kalofer Park Section
