Zelenikovets peak

ABOUT THE PEAK
The peak of Zelenikovets is located in the eastern section of the Central Balkan and its height is 1681 m. The peak is located in an interesting karst massif of exclusive vegetation. From the Ostricata ridge, located directly below the peak to the East springs out Mokra Byala River, while from the western gully, the Suha Byala River springs out. Both rivers flow into Rositsa – one of the main tributaries of Yantra. From the southern slopes of the peak, the Tazha River springs out, along the valley of which the incredibly beautiful Tazha gorge – section Dzhendema reserve is located.
