Kostina River

ABOUT KOSTINA RIVER
Kostina River is a tributary to Beli Vit river, flowing into in Ribaritsa village. It originates from the main crest of the mountain – the peaks of Bratanitsa and Bulovanya. The trail to Benkovski hut and the one to Divchovoto village follow the valley of this river. The trip along the picturesque valley is pleasant and easy. Historical sites are located here, combining legends of heroes – rebels against the Ottoman Empire – Kostin and the leader of the April Uprising Benkovski killed near the Karvavoto Kladentche (the Bloody Spring).
