Hut Eho


Eho hut is built below the very peak of Yumruka at an elevation of some 1700 m. From this hut beautiful panorama opens to the whole Vezhen section to the West and the region of the Kozya Stena hut to the East. The hut is supplied with water and electricity and its capacity comes to 47 beds. The hut is on the crest, which makes the winter hiking to it dangerous.
Access points to the hut being:

  • Rozino village
  • Klisura town via the sites of Ravna river and the Vetrovitya Preslap
  • Ribaritsa village along the Chernata river and the site of Ostrikite. Section of the trail falls within a reserve. The hiking here should be limited to the marked trail. The collection of mushrooms, forest fruits, herbs, the picking up of flowers and the bothering of wild animals is not allowed.
  • Chiflik village via Haidushka Pesen hut and the peak of Ushite. Section of the trail falls within a reserve. The hiking here should be limited to the marked trail. The collection of mushrooms, forest fruits, herbs, the picking up of flowers and the bothering of wild animals is not allowed.


Eho hut is an access point to Vasilyov hut (via the Ribaritsa Pass), to Vezhen hut (via the Vetrovitya Preslap and the Kamennata Porta). Section of the trail falls within a reserve. The hiking here should be limited to the marked trail. The collection of mushrooms, forest fruits, herbs, the picking up of flowers and the bothering of wild animals is not allowed. The trail to the Kozya Stena hut also starts at Eho hut (via Zhelezni Vrata and Karchov Preslap).
