The traditional men costume in this region was typically black colored – wide tight legged breeches. The women wear was low-cut sleeveless dresses with rich decoration.
Among the many and diverse social communities that inhabit the Balkan Peninsula, the Karakachans are well distinguished by their peculiar coloring and the magic, which their culture and way of life bring forth. The Karakachans belong to the Eastern Orthodox Church. They are Christians.
The ethnographical museum is arranged in the “Chudomir” Community Center of the village. Its exposition consists of a valuable collection of authentic items and documents representing the historical past and ethnography of the village.
