Central Balkan National Park Directorate organizes events as part of the initiative "Partner of Central Balkan Biosphere Reserve"

Local artisans, producers of traditional products and artists will participate in events in the municipalities, part of the transition zone of the Central Balkan Biosphere Reserve. Central Balkan National Park Directorate continues the development of the initiative "Partner of the Central Balkan Biosphere Reserve", showing the participants who applied to enter the partner network, as well as new ones, giving the face, appearance and spirit of local traditions, way of life and culture .
The program of events includes demonstrations of crafts and tasting of local products, eco-activities for children, a musical program - folk art, a discussion panel on good practices for sustainable development of the territories, a photo exhibition and an information stand for the two UNESCO awards in the region - Central Balkan Biosphere Reserve and the beech forests of the National Park, included in a series of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The dates are as follows:
- October 1 (Sunday) 2023 in the city of Sevlievo from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the central city square.
- October 7 (Saturday) 2023 in the city of Troyan from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the space in front of the Tourist Information Center.
- October 20 (Friday) 2023 in the village of Anton from 15:00 to 18:00 on the central square.
- October 21 (Saturday) 2023 in the city of Karlovo from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the the central city square.
The events are organized by the Central Balkan National Park Directorate with the support of the municipalities of Troyan, Sevlievo, Pavel Banya, Karlovo and Anton within the "Participation Program" of UNESCO.
