Complete Ban on Open Fires Introduced in Central Balkan National Park

To reduce the risk of wildfires during the high fire danger season, an open fire ban has been introduced throughout Central Balkan National Park.
Under Order No. RD-148/14.07.2026 issued by the Director of the Central Balkan National Park Directorate, the lighting of open fires is prohibited anywhere within the Park, regardless of the purpose or method used. The ban also applies to all designated fire sites identified in the Park's Management Plan.
