Educational initiatives were held on the occasion of Earth Day

This year, the Central Balkan National Park Directorate celebrated Earth Day through educational activities for the little ones. On April 22, 26 and 29, experts from the Parks Directorate visited the Radost kindergarten in the town of Sevlievo, the Raicho Karolev elementary school and the Neofit Rilski elementary school in the town of Gabrovo.
70 children from 5 to 10 years of age participated in the activities, who learned more about the planet Earth and its inhabitants, how people coexist with other living creatures, how we damage their environment and how we can be useful by generating less waste , saving the planet's resources and more. The children actively participated in the discussion process, as well as in thematic activities, shared opinions and showed good knowledge of the discussed topics.
