Educational meeting with young people from the National School for Mountain Guides in the village of Cherni Osam

On February 13, at the Natural History Museum - village of Cherni Osam, an expert from the Directorate of the Central Balkan National Park held an educational talk with students from the National School for Mountain Guides. The topic of the training was "Ecological Monitoring", with attention paid to the conduct of monitoring observations on the territory of the Park, the species that are subject to monitoring and its practical implementation.
The event took place as part of the practical training of students preparing to become mountain guides, under the project BG05SFPR001-3.001-0001 "Modernization of Vocational Education and Training", funded by the Education Program 2021-2027. Teachers from the school also showed interest in the talk, who also joined it.
The talk ended with a discussion among all participants of the opportunities for observing species in the Park, the need for responsible behavior towards our surrounding environment and other environmentally significant topics.
