Training of employees of Central Balkan National Park Directorate

On 04.06.2020 an administrative contract was concluded for granting financial aid between the Managing Authority of the Operational Program Good Governance and Central Balkan National Park Directorate for the training of its employees. The approved project "Increasing the administrative capacity of Central Balkan National Park Directorate" is under priority axis 2 "Effective and professional management in partnership with civil society and business" by selecting project proposals entitled "Specialized training for the territorial administration". The implementation period is 12 months.

- Specialized training in the field of environmental legislation. Monitoring of biological diversity.
- Specialized training in the areas of climate change management, innovation, and tourism management.
- Specialized training related to law enforcement and apprehension of offenders.
- Specialized training for working with geographic information systems and their application in the specific activities of employees.
The main goal of the project is through its implementation to contribute to increasing the competence of the employees of the specialized administration in the Directorate. The grant amounts to BGN 199,827.
