With a call to protect nature, the Director of the Central Balkan National Park Directorate opened the new office of the Directorate in the village of Ribaritsa

On April 29, at a solemn ceremony, Georgi Krastev, Director of the Central Balkan National Park Directorate (CBNPD), had the honor of opening the long-awaited, newly built office of the Teteven Park District (PD) of the Park Directorate, located in the village of Ribaritsa.
The event was attended by Dora Stoyanova - Regional Governor of Lovech Region, Dr. Madlena Boyadzhieva - Mayor of Teteven Municipality, Penka Ganeva - Mayor of Ribaritsa Village, Elena Stefanova - Head of the Protected Areas Department at the National Nature Protection Service (NNPD), as well as other representatives of various institutions and organizations at the local level with which CBNPD partners in its work, colleagues and friends of the Directorate.
The ceremony began with the blessing of the building and continued with a welcome speech by Mr. Krastev.

were just some of the words with which Director Krastev addressed those present at the opening. He expressed his gratitude to the people who helped build this long-awaited office and wished health, prosperity and well-being to all guests at the ceremony.
Congratulations on the new acquisition of the Central Balkan National Park were sent by the regional governor Ms. Stoyanova, the mayor of Teteven Municipality – Dr. Boyadzhieva, the mayor of the village of Ribaritsa – Ms. Ganeva, Ms. Stefanova from the Directorate of the National Forestry Agency and Eng. Docho Dochev – director of the State Forestry Enterprise “Ribaritsa”. In their greetings, in addition to wishes for health and prosperity, the guests united around the thesis that the office is more like a home and wished the employees of the Directorate that it would be like a second home for them, that it would bring them together and that they would take care of it with love and attention, just as they take care of “Central Balkan”. As with every first visit to a new home, the guests brought gifts for the office.
As part of the event, Mr. Georgi Krastev and Mr. Stoyan Hristov – Chief Inspector of the “Teteven” Park District planted a tree in the yard of the office, as a symbol of the new beginning and longevity, and as a kind of reference to the nature that the employees of the “Central Balkan” National Park protect.
Traditionally, the ceremony ended with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Ms. Elena Stefanova, Mr. Georgi Krastev and Mr. Stoyan Hristov, with which the office of the “Teteven” PU at the National Park Service of the Bulgarian National Park Service in the village of Ribaritsa was opened.
For the employees of the Directorate, visiting the Teteven Park for the opening, the event ended with a tour of the Park section itself.
Providing a local office for the Teteven Park was one of the important tasks for the Directorate. It is expected that it will support the work of the 7 colleagues from the section, who have so far shared a single room. Also, the construction of the office will improve the quality of the offered administrative, educational and tourist activities and services that the NPCB Directorate offers.
The office in the village of Ribaritsa is a fact thanks to a number of people. Among them are the colleagues from the Ministry of Environment and Water, who did everything possible to support the construction of the office and provided its financing. These are also a number of managers of the Park Directorate, including Mr. Georgi Krastev, who have worked for years towards the construction of an office at the Central Balkan for the Teteven Park section. The regional governor of Lovech and the representatives of the local authorities in the person of the mayors of Teteven and Ribaritsa, who assisted the process and who supported the activities of the Directorate, providing the current office of the Teteven Public Park in the Ribaritsa city hall. As well as the colleagues from the Central Balkan National Park Directorate, who in every way supported the process of building the office.
