On June 30 (Friday) in the Education and Information Center of the "Central Balkan National Park" Directorate in the city of Gabrovo, a final press conference was held under Project No. BG16M1OP002-3.007-0006 "Restoration and protection of natural habitats and species in the Central Balkan National Park" , approved by Order No.RD-OP-96/26.09.2018 of the Minister of Environment and Water, under the Operational Program "Environment 2014-2020",

Two educational hikes with children along the eco-trail Vidimsko praskalo took place

During the past week - on June 20 and 22, a total of 58 children aged between eight and nine years from the school "Vela Blagoeva" - Veliko Tarnovo. Veliko Tarnovo and their teachers walked the route of the eco-trail Vidimsko praskalo. The hikes were held as part of the Central Balkan National Park Directorate's educational program - "The Park as a Classroom", the "With a Ranger in Central Balkan" initiative. The groups were accompanied by rangers and experts, employees of the Park Directorate.

Central Balkan National Park Directorate organizes the cleaning of objects in the protected territory on the occasion of June 5

Employees of the Central Balkan National Park Directorate participated in a campaign to clean up objects in the protected territory characterized by increased attendance. On Friday, June 2, the area of the Haydushka pesen hut in the territory of the village of Chiflik was cleaned. Employees from the "Troyan" Park Section and from the Park Directorate in the city of Gabrovo took part in the action. A griffon vulture released in the Central Balkan National Park has been observed in Serbia

After checking, it turned out to be bird released in 2022 from the adaptation aviary in the locality of Shopov egrek, Central Balkan National Park. After its release, the bird was kept and settled permanently in the area of the aviary, where it was last recorded on April 30, 2022. The distance traveled between the release site and the surveillance in Serbia is 430 km.
