On the occasion of World Water Day - March 22, the Central Balkan National Park Directorate together with the Natural History Museum - Cherni Osam village are organizing a celebration for young and old. Through games and tasks, everyone will learn more about water, its related species and how to protect it. The event will be held in the courtyard of the museum on March 22 (Wednesday) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Ravnets hut
Ravnets hut is situated at 1250m above sea level, in Chobanski egrek place and it is a solid two-storey building. The hut can accommodate 35 guests in double, four-bed rooms and tourist dormitories with outside WCs. The building is electrified and water-supplied. Solid fuel stoves heat it.
Ravnets hut disposes of tourist kitchen and equipment, and canteen.
The shelter is open all the year round and there is a permanent personnel.
Starting points: Karlovo - the shortest way to Botev peak, Kalofer, village of Vassil Levski and the huts Rai, Vassil Levski, Pleven, Botev shelter.

- Town of Karlovo – Oreshaka place – Ravnets hut – 2h – Kochmara peak – Djendema – Vassil Levski hut – 3h.
- Kochmara peak – Djendema – Botev shelter – 4,20h – Botev peak – 40 min – the ridge of Ravnets hill – Djendema – Rai hut – 5.30h
- Town of Kalofer – Kalofer monastery – 1.15h – along the ridge of Ravnets – Chufadaritsa peak – Haidut peak – Bulchu peak – Ravnets peak – Ravnets hut – 4h.
