The Botev shelter



Botev shelter is located on the western slopes of the peak of Botev, in the site of Polyankata at the water-divide below the peak, at some 2210 m of elevation.

It was built in 1936 by the Plovdiv and Karlovo tourists to facilitate the trekking to the peak. In case of bad weather it can shelter 25-30 people.
