Kumanitsa
ABOUT THE RIDGE
The ridge of Kumanitsa descends from the northern slopes of the peak of Levski (Ambaritsa) towards the Cherni Osam River. In fact it is Kumanitsa that outlines part of the impressive canyons of Cherni Osam River – it is may be the most unforgettable reserve in the Central Balkan. Kumanitsa is a limestone ridge with characteristic and extremely valuable vegetation. The rock phenomenon Krali Markova dupka (the whole of Karli Marko) occurs here – limestone bridge, rising over the mountain meadows covered by colorful flower palette. Address: Troyan Park Section
