Hubavets hut

 

The hut is located in the place where the Malka and Golyama River merge into the Stara River, along the path Karlovo - Vassil Levski Hut, at 964 m. above sea level.
It is a solid three-storey building with total capacity of 60 beds, allocated in double, four-bed rooms, and tourist dormitories with shared WC and bath. The hut is water-supplied, wired by its own hydroelectric power station, heated by firewood stoves, tourist kitchen and canteen available as well as small shop.

  • Balkanski Rozi Hut - 0,40 h.
  • V. Levski Hut - 2,00 h.
  • Levski summit (up to 1942 named Ambaritsa) - 3,30 h.
  • Ambaritsa Hut - 4,00 h.(through “Malkata reka”, “Pladneshki yarove” saddle)
  • Golyam Kupen Summit (2169 m.) - 4,00 h.
  • Rai Hut - 6,30 h.
  • Botev Summit (2376 m.) - 6,30 h.

Starting points: Town of Karlovo (rail way station on Podbalkanska line and final station on the line Plovdiv - Karlovo) - 2,00 h, "Balkanski rozi" hut, "V.Levski" hut, "Dobrila" hut, "Ambaritsa" hut, "Botev" shelter.
