On the occasion of The Saint Andrew's Day (The Bear Day) on November 30, employees of the Parks Directorate visited Vasil Levskihigh school in the town of Apriltsi and delivered a lesson in the form of a talk about the brown bear. The school's 3rd grade children took part in the activity.

Hut Mazalat
The popular tourist hut Mazalat is built on the main mountain ridge, in the place Mandrishteto, at 1520 meters above sea level.
The massive two-storey building offers:
- 34 beds in rooms with 2, 4, 6 and 8 beds and plank-beds, sinks in all rooms, and 30 beds in bungalows with rooms of 4 and 6 beds and outside WCs during the summer
- The hut is water-supplied, aggregate electrified and offers solid fuel heaters
- Tourist kitchen and canteen
- Hunting station, “Е-3” point
